Almost 40 novice and brush-up cheese makers in 2 classes

Two classes held at Brovetto Dairy in Harpersfield, NY, yielded a variety of cheeses made from cow and goat milk, much discussion of sanitation, milk quality, cheese making techniques and ingredients, and aging basics.

The Guild has already received inquiries about further classes, for both first-timers and intermediate level cheese makers. Check here and in the Events section for news of classes, possibly in the fall of 2009.
